Experience tells us that a trader generated consensus can be correct in up to 7 weeks out of 10. It can therefore be a powerful tool in assisting you with your weekly forex trading decisions.
“Managed Pips” in the table above shows performance where Stops (-60 pips) and Take Profit Limits (+90 pips) are applied to each hypothetical weekly trade. In reality performance would be considerably better with Trailing Take Profit Orders applied and with fully optimised Stops and Limits.
In the six months to 27/03/2020 a $10,000 account trading the weekly consensus at $10 per point with the above Stops and Take Profit Limits applied would show an 834 pip gain or 84% profit. Maximum draw down would be 12% if trading commenced on 3rd Feb 2020 (that week and following being the only two consecutive weeks of incorrect consensus). Maximum drawdown in relation to trading commenced in any other week would be 6%.
Every Monday we will ask you and hundreds of other registered users to predict whether EUR/USD end the week higher or lower than the prevailing price. The question will look like this;
“Will EUR/USD close this week ABOVE or BELOW 1.1422” .
You simply click on ABOVE or BELOW on the app screen in order to provide us with your opinion. Voting will be “open” every Monday between 1pm and 3PM UK time.
Your carefully considered opinion is pooled with the predictions of all other users and we then generate the weekly EUR/USD consensus opinion. Vote every Monday to receive the Weekly Consensus which is sent out soon after 3pm. Please note you must vote in order to receive the Weekly Consensus.
